My clutch has never been this light. I dont think the clutch was ever good, in my possession at least.

Kinja'd!!!

Here’s what was done:

Kinja'd!!!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go relearn how to drive my truck because the clutch feel is so different.

Kinja'd!!!

As an adult this is one of the few phrases that bring me great joy.

Perhaps that’s why the PO didn’t complain about the clutch? It was too difficult to drive otherwise?

My dad had a 95 S-10 years ago and that was probably the weirdest clutch I've ever experienced. The catch point was virtually nil. If you didn't know what you were doing, you'd stall it out. And even if you did know what you were doing, it would probably still happen.

My shifter bolt had to be replaced too (I knew this and was gonna do it, but in reality I would never get around to it). They charged me $50 for the bolt kit, I was happy to pay that considering the job they did

From what I know about the PO, he gave it to his daughter and she learned to drive stick on it, the clutch was done in her possession. I doubt she knew any better to what it should feel like

I just got a look at the shifter boot too. I put some velcro on it so it wouldnt flop around. They even reattached that! Wow, these guys are good

Every clutch on my 3.0 was light - even the heavy-duty clutch they installed for clutch number two. It is running on the third clutch now. I get between 100k and 130k miles out of each one.

My dad has a ‘96 F250 with a 5-speed. The clutch is the most wacky thing I’ve driven - there’s nothing to it, including feel, and it too is fairly new (<20k). All of the engagement happens at once, arbitrarily in the middle of the travel. You will stall it or spin the tires the first several times you try to get moving.

Works! Since you don’t have any airbag, do whatever hah.
